We first tried K & K Beef in April 2021. We decided to try the beef due to the lives the cows lead. The fact they graze on mineral-rich grass, are never fed grain, and are humanely harvested in the fields meant a lot to our family. We then met Kristian and Katelynn, the Ks behind K & K. There is just something so different when you can hug your farmer or shake their hand. We could tell they genuinely cared about their cattle, the processing, and providing amazing beef to others. We love K & K Grass-Fed Beef! We have had many different types of grass-fed meat in the past, and K & K beef is by far the most superior! A lot of times with other grass-fed beef we can taste a very earthy flavor...theirs is not like that. We find K & K's beef to be full of flavor, very buttery, and tender in texture. I recently purchased a bulk beef half from K&K Grass-Fed Beef. They were so patient and explained the whole process of what to expect from start to finish, and they answered all my questions. I went to their IL pick up location and picked up my order with my wife. Kristian and Katelynn had everything ready for us and we loaded up our various boxed & frozen cuts of beef.

We got home and put the beef in our freezer. It was nice to see that the cuts of beef were vacuum sealed. It makes a world of a difference to have it sealed that way, instead of just wrapped in butcher paper. K&K beef comes in top notch packaging!

We ended up cooking some hamburgers and steaks on the grill. We also made several of our favorite ground beef dishes. The K&K beef dishes were all so much more flavorful when compared to the store-bought beef we used to get. I can't wait to smoke my brisket and grill my T-bone steaks! I tell ya, the quality of their beef is so delicious and tender. K&K beef quality is A+! The color of their beef is very appealing too. I have friends that say grass fed beef is tough. Well, K&K beef is not at all the same as other grass-fed beef out there. It’s very tender & tasty! I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.
